THE MEASUREMENTS TO KNOW TO CHOOSE A COAT 
If you want to buy a coat without being able to try it on (which happens), it is a good idea to have your measurements on hand to make sure you make the right choice.
Once you know your measurements, it is almost impossible to make a mistake.
Here's to your tape measure!
Here's a tip that will make your life easier: if you already own a coat that fits you perfectly, you can use it as a yardstick for all your other purchases.
MEASURE A: BACK WIDTH
The measurement is taken outside the shoulder seam and the opposite is taken.
MEASURE B: CHEST CIRCUMFERENCE
You start under the armpit to draw a line to the opposite side.
MEASURE C: WAIST CIRCUMFERENCE
You start by placing your marker 18cm below the armpit.
We mark the point, and we will look for its opposite to get the waist size.
MEASURE D : WIDTH AT THE BOTTOM OF THE COAT
We come to position the end of the ribbon at the corner of the coat and look for the end.
MEASURE E: HANDLE OPENING
We put the sleeve on... and we look for the end. (This measure is almost never present in the measurement tables of the e-shops, but it can be interesting to have if you are heading towards custom-made).
MEASURE F : SLEEVE LENGTH
We start below the shoulder seam, without following the sleeve (we draw a direct line), until it opens.
MEASURE G : LENGTH OF THE BACK
Below the foot of the collar, we plate the material, and we finish in the bottom of the coat.
