COATS YOU'LL WANT TO WEAR THIS WINTER

Living in Canada gives us the privilege of living through four seasons. You can literally wear all types of clothing in a single year. In general, I would say that winter fans are quite rare (speak up!). Personally, my first instinct when faced with the freezing cold would be to bundle up in a thick, warm coat and wait for spring. I am in survival mode from December to April. This year, new approach, I decided to help you tame the cold season by presenting you the trendy looks of the next winter.

THE PARKA
Without hesitation, if it's freezing outside, put on a parka. With its huge hood often adorned with fur or even synthetic fur (my favorite!), it is waterproof so perfect for rain and snow. The parka is a timeless coat that will never go out of style. Its zippers are practical and its many pockets are definitely a plus.

THE PUFFER
I would say this is my favorite. Since I tend to run around all day, I need something that moves and breathes, but without sacrificing my style. The puffer comes in all lengths, with or without sleeves. It fits all body types well. The interior can be synthetic (less expensive) or not and since it is insulated, it keeps you warm and controls your body temperature no matter what the weather is like outside.

THE FAUX FUR
A must-have this winter. It's also the smart way to fight the cold and the cruelty inflicted on animals at the same time. This year, cuts, patterns and colors are more extravagant than ever. To keep up with the trend, why not indulge in a colorful, oversized animal print? You can adapt it to a dressy look, of course, but if you prefer an everyday version, pair it with jeans or a T-shirt. They're also super cold resistant and a fact not to be overlooked: they're machine washable!
