If the "functional" criterion is replaced by the "aesthetic" criterion.
The well-cut shirt replaces the T-shirt won at the cognac marathon. The jacket and the coat come to replace the old parka too big. Waterproof seams are dropped in favor of a breathtaking style.
So, let's admit that we put all the functional criteria aside to concentrate on these aesthetic criteria :
easy to match.
Brands that focus solely on these characteristics succeed in producing inexpensive and beautifully designed clothing.
Honestly, it's nice, but are you sure it's going to go the distance? I have the impression that if I raise my arms, the jacket will tear; and there, on the pants, the threads stick out.
However, these clothes are generally of very low quality with regard to the materials used, the finishes or their solidity.
A "stylish" coat bought for less than 50 € in PAP has a good chance not to keep you warm, nor to protect you from the rain. And after a season of intensive wearing, it will have lost its shape and the pockets or lining may have torn.
If you want it all at once, you'll have to pay the price (for the good cause, you'll see).
But first, I need to clarify a point. If you are looking for something to fight the cold from the following list :
a pair of sneakers with varnished tips that are snow-resistant and with which you can climb Everest without an oxygen bottle,
a thermo-regulating selvedge jeans in which one is never hot in summer, accompanied by a fur coat.
