HOW TO WEAR A MEN'S SAFARI JACKET?

Like many of the pieces in our closet - like the shed - the fur comes from the military world. Appearing at the end of the 19th century, it was initially the uniform of the British armies in India, appreciated for its lightness in the face of a hot climate.

It is essential to soothe such pants with more sober pieces. Unsurprisingly, the navy blue of the sweater works perfectly. This one nicely opposes the elegance of jeans and derby, while bringing a certain nonchalance that lends itself well to the safari jacket.

The sneakers pick up the colors of the look, and thus finalize the outfit. They also bring a lot of dynamism to the outfit: the same look would work with boots, but would convey very different ideas.
On relatively simple looks, it is important to take care of the materials and textures.

Raw jeans are used as a binder for the outfit, and the desert boots take up the shades of the fur (we could also have imagined a grey model, referring to the tee-shirt).

Otherwise, there's nothing complicated. Don't get confused: it's a spontaneous look, and it should stay that way.

We find the distilled beige/blue combo in all the outfit, no concern for the harmony of colors.

In fact, you can introduce more sustained touches, as here with the New Balance sneakers and the burgundy cap. This brings a twist and avoids any monotony.

In addition, the curvature of the fur gives structure to the whole: it stands in contrast to other less fitted pieces.
